Built in 1960 and renovated in 2001, Morriss and Champlin Halls were the first two buildings (Emery and Woolley Halls coming later) in a residence and dining quadrangle built for Pembroke College. Champlin Hall is named for George B. Champlin, a Providence jewelry manufacturer
