As part of Wriston Quadrangle, built between 1950 and 1952, Goddard House is named for William Giles Goddard, a member of the class of 1812, professor of Moral Philosophy and Metaphysics and of "Belles-Lettres" for 17 years, and Trustee and Fellow of the University. This facility received cosmetic upgrades in 2014.
