As part of the Wriston Quadrangle, built between 1950 and 1952, Marcy House is named after a member of the class of 1808, William L. Marcy, Comptroller of the State of New York, U.S. Senator, Governor of New York for three terms, Secretary of War, and U.S. Secretary of State. The highest peak in the Adirondacks, Mount Marcy, near Lake Placid, also bears his name. This facility received cosmetic upgrades in 2014.

Location is great (near Ratty/main green). Rooms are terrible: gross walls, floor tiles coming apart, and overall just not spacious. Bathrooms are decent for communal but there's frequent issues with showers. No elevators, no public lounges unless you are in the frat/community, and just a single shared kitchen. Laundry room is almost always busy since there are only 3 washers 4 dryers for entire building. During winter, it can still get cold even with max heating.
